Hotel Torcolo (Residenze del Cuore)

The perfect spot for a long weekend in beautiful Verona. Only a 20-minute walk from the main bus station and tucked quietly right behind the Piazza Bra. All the sights, galleries and museums were easily walkable and the area is packed full of lovely bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. The service was second to none, friendly and accommodating; we were upgraded to a larger room, given local recommendations and even offered use of the bar and toilet facilities and somewhere to leave our bags as we had a late flight. The bed was huge and although I found it really comfortable, my partner found it a bit too firm (personal preference). There was a minibar but I would have like tea and coffee making facilities ideally. That is the only reason I have given 4 stars for the room as otherwise it was quaintly characterful, lovely and clean with free toiletries and an unusually good hairdryer for a hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this little gem of a hotel and already have done to some friends!

I recommend this hotel Perfect location at the hearth of the city, much cheaper than any other hotel in the same spot. The rooms are nice and kept well. The bathroom/showers are dated but functional. Great personell, very nice and welcoming. I'd give five stars however if it wasn't for the dust in the less visible spots of the room (higher shelves, under the bed) and the breakfast area being very small, to the point to be almost unusable if all guest show up at the same time.

I have enjoyed a splendid three-day sojourn with my family, during which we were graciously accommodated and impeccably attended to. The establishment's location is exceptional, offering proximity to major attractions while maintaining a serene distance from the city's bustling core. I wholeheartedly bestow a five-star rating upon the staff for their exceptional dedication, meticulous service, and sumptuous breakfast offerings. Once a familial bed-and-breakfast, it has seamlessly evolved into a hotel, preserving its inviting warmth. I extend my effusive compliments in acknowledgment of the cleanliness, amenities, location, and the dedicated staff. Farewell, and best wishes from Valencia!

Lovely small “family-style” hotel in the centre of Verona. Walking distance to all the top attractions! Rooms are clean, tidy, with all the usual bathroom and bedroom accessories. Reception and staff are warm and welcoming and happy to answer questions and provide advice. Beds could do with an upgrade would be my only recommendation.

Amazing experience. Extremely clean. Location is right in the center of historic Verona. All major landmarks are within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable, staff were always polite and helpful. Even parking that is often a big issue in the center of old cities like Verona, was addressed by the hotel. Definitely coming back soon.
